I provide therapy to adolescents and adults, using a client-centered, eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. I believe that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live a fulfilling, happy life.

 As Clinic Coordinator, my work aligns closely with my belief that mental health is just as vital as physical health — a foundation for living a balanced, purposeful life. I'm passionate about breaking down stigmas, promoting access to care, and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.  

For the past five years, I have focused on clinical practice within community mental health clinics, serving children, adults, and the elderly. I enjoy utilizing practical techniques like journaling, affirmations, grounding exercises, and role-playing to foster healing and self-discovery. I am excited to collaborate with you on your path to healing and achieving your goals. Together, we can work towards improving your overall well-being.

I do not believe in a “one size fits all” form of counseling and strive to accommodate counseling to each unique individual and provide clients with the tools and skills they need to feel confident in reaching their goals. I use an eclectic approach to include cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive and solution focused therapy, strength-based therapy, and dialectal behavioral therapy. 

Throughout my career, I have focused on helping individuals and families in crisis situations secure stability. I have worked with diverse populations, and I understand the unique challenges individuals face. My professional interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, and those navigating pregnancy or postpartum. 

​ My academic background and professional experiences demonstrate a long-standing commitment to public service and helping others in their time of vulnerability. I have experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults, with special attention on providing treatment to children with autism and behavioral issues. I provide a non-judgmental and safe environment for clients to address their mental health concerns.

 I have explored many areas of social work and began my career in Child Protective Services. This allowed me to work individually with children, teens, and families. As a therapist, I believe mental health is connected to everything in our lives, our ability to respond to stress, find a sense of self, grow healthy relationships, and maintain good mental health, physical and balance in our everyday lives. Taking care of our mental health brings positivity to our overall well-being.

​ I began my Social Work career working in different capacities of local government, assisting with resources and advocating for those in need. I understand that life can be difficult at times and we need someone that can offer space for us to process, heal, and improve our life for the better. I am here to help you through these difficult times and to help you become empowered to become your best self.
